Ref: 580ASISW Title: Deputy Chief Executive Officer Location: Germany Salary: Attractive Date: 18th December 2025 Our client, a leading industrial company specializing in energy plants, wood-based materials, and complex engineering projects is looking for a Deputy CEO to work closely with the current Chief Executive Officer and, in due course, assume full leadership of the organisation. Duties Include: Supporting the CEO in overall corporate strategy, operational leadership, and business development initiatives Taking direct responsibility for major engineering and energy projects , overseeing the full lifecycle from design and manufacturing through to construction and commissioning Driving operational excellence, performance optimisation, and sustainable growth across all business units Building, developing, and maintaining strong relationships with key customers, partners, suppliers, and external stakeholders Acting as a senior ambassador for the organisation in commercial, technical, and strategic discussions Preparing for an orderly CEO succession and assuming full executive leadership in the medium term The preferred candidate must have proven experience in Senior management / executive experience in industrial engineering, energy, or wood-processing. As well as fluency in German and English (written and spoken). You should also possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills as well as be able to interact at all levels of business effectively.
