Job Title: Senior Project Developer – Onshore Wind Location: Berlin or Hamburg, Germany

Our client is a well-established renewable energy project developer with an expanding portfolio of onshore wind projects across Germany. With a strong commitment to accelerating the energy transition, they deliver sustainable, high-impact projects from early development through to construction.

We are seeking an accomplished Senior Project Developer to lead the development of onshore wind projects throughout Germany. Based in Berlin, you will take responsibility for managing projects from site identification and feasibility assessment through to permitting and ready-to-build status, working closely with technical, commercial, and regulatory teams.

Drive the full development lifecycle of onshore wind projects, from site origination and feasibility studies through permitting and financial close.
Identify, evaluate, and secure viable project sites in collaboration with landowners and local stakeholders.
Oversee planning and permitting processes, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
Coordinate with internal engineering, grid, legal, and commercial teams to support integrated project delivery.
Contribute to continuous improvement of project development processes and methodologies.

Significant experience in onshore wind project development within the German renewable energy sector.
Strong understanding of German permitting processes, land acquisition frameworks, and environmental requirements.
Proven track record of managing complex, multi-stakeholder development projects.
Fluent in German and English.
