The company incorporates the main functional areas of IT- Infrastructure, Procurement, Global Architecture, Security Operations & Group Head Office IT Services.The Group Procurement unit manages the sourcing and purchasing of goods and services across the organization to ensure cost efficiency and supplier consistency. It centralizes procurement activities to leverage scale, optimize contracts, and support strategic business goals.Senior Strategic Buyer – Real Estate & Facility Management (RE&FM)Generali is seeking a Senior Strategic Buyer to lead sourcing initiatives within the Generali Group's RE&FM domain. The role involves developing procurement strategies, managing supplier relationships, driving cost optimization, and ensuring compliance with procurement policies, while collaborating with internal stakeholders to support business objectives.We are looking for a Senior Strategic Buyer Key responsibilities of the role will include:Lead strategic sourcing initiatives in RE&FM within the Generali groupDevelop and implement procurement strategies aligned with business goals and compliance standardsManage supplier relationships, including negotiation, performance evaluation, and risk mitigationCollaborate with internal stakeholders (finance, legal, operations, etc) to ensure procurement alignment with project needs.Drive cost optimization and value creation through market intelligence and benchmarkingSupport contract management and ensure adherence to procurement policies and proceduresMonitor procurement KPIs and prepare regular reporting for senior stakeholdersProfileEducation & ExperienceUniversity degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or a related fieldMinimum 2 years of experience in strategic procurement, preferably in an international environmentProven experience managing sourcing activities for real estate services, facility operations, maintenance, and capital projectsFamiliarity with vendor management in RE&FM categories such as cleaning, security, catering, HVAC, and energy servicesLanguages:Fluent in English (written and spoken)German, Czech, or other European language is a plusSkills Technical SkillsProficient in procurement platforms (e.g., SAP Ariba, Ivalua)Strong knowledge of strategic sourcing, contract negotiation, and supplier performance managementFamiliarity with risk assessment and compliance frameworksUnderstanding of RE&FM-specific KPIs, SLAs, and sustainability metricsExperience with lease administration, property lifecycle cost analysis, and FM service benchmarkingSoft SkillsExcellent stakeholder management and communication skillsStrong analytical and critical thinking abilitiesHigh attention to detail and ability to deliver under tight deadlinesProactive, adaptable, and solution-oriented mindsetTeam player with cross-functional collaboration experienceAbility to influence internal clients and drive cost optimization without compromising service qualityPersonal contactQuestions?
