Anspruchsvolle, anwendungs- und praxisorientierte Vorlesungen wechseln sich mit praktischen Phasen in den Kooperationsunternehmen ab.Der duale Bachelor-Studiengang ist ein sechssemestriges, modular aufgebautes Vollzeitstudium. Es handelt sich um einen Intensivstudiengang, der mit 210 ECTS-Punkten mit dem Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) abschließt.Das Studium bildet einen ersten berufsqualifizierenden Abschluss. Die Studierenden lernen während der vorlesungsfreien Zeit je nach Unternehmen verschiedene Aufgabenfelder in den Bereichen Informationsmanagement, Softwareentwicklung, Marketing / Vertrieb, Controlling Marketing / Vertrieb, Consulting, Service und Support, Rechnungswesen oder Personalwesen kennen und arbeiten dort aktiv mit.Theoriephase: In den Vorlesungen in kleinen Semestergruppen erlernen die Studierenden fundierte und umfassende Fachkenntnisse in internationaler Wirtschaftsinformatik. Durch die Mischung aus deutschen Professoren, in der Wirtschaft erfahrenen Praktikern und einer großen Anzahl ausländischer Professoren und Dozenten erleben die Studierenden die Theorie aus verschiedenen Blickwinkeln.Auslandsaufenthalt: Das Highlight im vierten Semester des Bachelor-Studiums ist der Aufenthalt in Shanghai. Er beginnt Mitte Mai und dauert bis Ende September und ist ein Kernelement des Studienangebotes. In der ersten Hälfte des Auslandsaufenthalts werden die Studierenden des Programms „Internationale Wirtschaftsinformatik – International Business Administration and Information Technology (IBAIT)“ ihr Wissen an der Partneruniversität in Shanghai (Tongji Universität) im Bereich Wirtschaftsinformatik weiter ausbauen. Im Anschluss daran werden die „IBAITs“ in einer Tochtergesellschaft oder Niederlassung ihres Unternehmens in Shanghai eingesetzt und dort aktiv in anspruchsvolle Projekte eingebunden.Partnerunternehmen: Die „IBAITs“ sind zugleich Studierende der Hochschule für Wirtschaft und Gesellschaft Ludwigshafen und Angestellte ihres Partnerunternehmens und erhalten während des gesamten Studiums eine Vergütung.Abschluss: Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.)Credits: 210 ECTS-PunkteFür die Bachelor-Programme gilt das European Credit Transfer System (ECTS). Kernelement des ECTS sind sogenannte Anrechnungspunkte (Credits), die den einzelnen Lehrveranstaltungen bzw. Studien- und Prüfungsleistungen zugeordnet werden.
