The headquarters in Düsseldorf of the Construction and Real Estate Management Agency of the State of North Rhine-Westphalia (BLB NRW) is looking for a Strategic Purchaser (m/f/d) for Supplier Management.

The BLB NRW is the owner, lessor, and operator of almost all properties in the state of North Rhine-Westphalia. With approximately 4,000 buildings, a rental area of about 10.3 million square meters, and annual rental income of around 1.5 billion euros, we manage one of the largest and most demanding property portfolios in Europe. • Responsible for establishing a strategic supplier management, its further development, and resource management in the area of cross-departmental collaboration
• Develop strategic measures to expand, qualify, and develop the supplier base
• Develop communication strategies and concepts with suppliers
• Manage the initiation and implementation of measures for continuous improvement of the supplier database
• Conduct market analyses and market research procedures and further develop them
• Identify quality metrics for various phases in supplier management, derive targeted measures in case of deviations from targets, and pursue them accordingly (supplier development programs)

You have successfully completed studies (Diploma/Bachelor/Master) in Business Administration, Business Informatics, Business Engineering, or a comparable field.

• Minimum of two years of practical experience in supplier management, supplier evaluation, or handling supplier databases
• Strong German language skills equivalent to at least C1 level (fluent in spoken and written)
• Proficient in common Microsoft Office products, especially Excel
• Naturally think and act across departments, communicate appropriately and confidently with internal and external partners
• Team-oriented, structured, independent, and results-oriented work style complete your profile

Depending on personal and operational conditions, a salary in the range of grade E 10 to E 12 TV-L (approx. € ,00 - € ,00 annually) with all agreed social benefits (e.g., company pension scheme) is possible for tariff employees.
For civil service applicants, a status-equivalent transfer is possible up to a position in pay grade A 12 LBesO A.
