Join the Worldwide Specialist Organization (WWSO) Enterprise Applications, Migrations and Modernisation team as a GTM Specialist Solutions Architect for Microsoft workloads.


AWS Sales, Marketing, and Global Services (SMGS) is responsible for driving revenue, adoption, and growth from small- and mid-market accounts to enterprise-level customers.


The AWS Global Support team interacts with leading companies to ensure world-class support is provided.


Key job responsibilities:

  • Represent the voice of the customer; collaborate with teams to bring feedback to product teams.
  • Lead curation of custom feature requests for unique customer use cases.
  • Provide advanced technical knowledge to unblock customers' challenges.
  • Own the technical bar for specialist technical artifacts and standards.
  • Collaborate to provide technical insights into strategy.
  • Share best practices through various forums.
  • Guide and support an internal community of technical experts.

About the team

The WWSO Microsoft Workloads team positions AWS as the best place to run Microsoft-based workloads.


This position will help EMEA AWS customers migrate and modernize their Microsoft workloads by using AWS services.


Preferred qualifications:

  • History of successful technical engagements with large-scale customers.
  • Experience in migrating legacy solutions to the cloud.
  • Expertise in data center operations and security frameworks.
  • Comfort speaking with executives and developers.
  • AWS Solution Architecture certification or relevant cloud experience.
  • Computer Science degree or relevant experience.
