AWS Sales, Marketing, and Global Services (SMGS) drives revenue and growth from small to enterprise-level customers, including the public sector.

The AWS Global Support team ensures world-class support for leading companies and collaborates with customers building mission-critical applications on AWS services.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Represent the voice of the customer, bringing feedback to product teams for continuous improvement of migrating mainframe workloads on AWS.
  • Lead custom feature curation for unique customer use cases.
  • Provide advanced technical knowledge to unblock customers' critical business challenges.
  • Own technical standards and artifacts for GTM teams.
  • Collaborate to provide technical insights into GTM strategy.
  • Share best practices as a thought leader through various forums and events.
  • Support a community of technical experts aligned with customers.

About the Team:

The WWSO Mainframe team helps customers migrate Mainframe applications to AWS cloud for innovation and scalability.

Specialist SA in Mainframe workloads leads technical strategy in Germany and expands adoption of AWS services.

This role assists EMEA AWS customers with Mainframe workload migration and modernization.


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Successful experience in technical consulting.
  • Experience in migrating customer solutions to the cloud.
  • Communication skills for interactions with executives and developers.
  • Knowledge in software development tools and methodologies.
  • Relevant cloud expertise or AWS Solution Architecture certification.
  • Background in Computer Science or related field desired.
