h3>Ihr ArbeitsplatzOur research group at the Department of Biology at the Faculty of Sciences of the Friedrich-Alexander-Universität Erlangen-Nürnberg (FAU) is dedicated to investigating the molecular mechanisms that control cell division in animal cells. The research group offers a cutting-edge laboratory environment, access to first-class instruments, and a dynamic, international working atmosphere. Ihr Profil
  • Master’s degree in biology, biochemistry, molecular biology, cell biology, life sciences, or a related field
  • Strong knowledge of cell and molecular biology
  • Experience with biochemical techniques is beneficial
  • Familiarity with genetic approaches, screening methods and C. elegans is desirable
  • Ideally, practical experience in quantitative confocal live-cell microscopy
  • Experience in the application and analysis of microscopy techniques is beneficial
  • Very good knowledge of English (at least C1 level)
  • High motivation and interest in fundamental questions of cell biology
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
  • Critical thinking and problem-solving skills
