Claims1.4.3 is responsible for the management of Marine, Aviation, Contingency and Agro losses with a global mandate.Your JobLead and guide a specialised team of (Senior) Claims Managers and Claims Consultants according to our Global Claims Leadership ValuesActively implement the new Global Claims Set-up and advance our Global Claims Ambition 2025, as a member of the Claims Leadership TeamEnsure proactive claims management and a state of the art legal and technical analysis of claims including reserving for OutliersManage payment of claims and adherence to the company’s internal risk controlsContinuously improve claims management to increase the effectiveness of core claims functions in light of digital transformationEnsure adherence to Global Claims guidelines and contribute to the developmentIdentify and meet the core business needs of our internal stakeholders (e.g. CM, UW, RIA, CR, CU) on management and team levelProvide active Claims support for new product development incl. innovation projects and digital claims initiativesEstablish and maintain an excellent external network with key clients and brokersPlan and oversee internal and external claims visits, reviews and client events (predominantly reinsurance)Actively participate in market meetings (for direct business only)Contribute to our thought leadership and market presence ambition also through presentations and other strategic activities as well as supporting initiatives on a global basisDevelop talents and contribute to the groupwide diversity and inclusion objectivesYour ProfileUniversity degree or comparable formal qualificationExpert knowledge of reinsurance and/or primary insurance businessLeadership experience:Ability to lead and motivate highly qualified and diverse teams in a global setupChange management skillsEnergetic manager who can build and empower teams in an agile way and apply their diverse skills, perspectives and experiences to achieve common goalsExperience in developing colleagues through coaching, feedback and providing opportunitiesStrong analytical skills and strategic thinkingStrong negotiation skillsFluent in spoken and written business English.
