Our client is an American headquartered investment management firm. Due to continued growth in the fund sales team, they are now seeking a Sales Manager to join their team in Germany on a permanent basis.
Partnering with key strategic clients in the DACH region alongside both investment and sales teams, the Sales Manager will take responsibility for the following duties:
- Business development, fostering and maintaining strong relationships with institutional clients, financial advisors, and key stakeholders.
- Support marketing and client servicing activities in German.
- Contribute and execute a strategic sales plan.
- Articulate the unique value propositions of the businesses’ offered products i.e. sustainable products and ETFs.
- Prospecting and client follow-up through calls, emails etc.
- Work closely with internal teams, including the broader sales team, marketing, product, capital markets and operations, to ensure a first-class client experience.
- Provide regular reports on DACH market trends, competitor activities, and client feedback.
The Sales Manager will meet the following criteria:
- Minimum 3 years of proven success in actively-managed Fund Sales within the DACH region.
- Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in Finance, Business, or a related field.
- Native / bilingual German speaker and fluent in English is essential.
- Demonstrated ability to achieve and exceed sales targets.
- In-depth understanding of ETFs is preferred.
This is an excellent opportunity for a Sales Manager with an interest in ETFs looking to join a flourishing investment management house.
