LCA Expert – Project manager and expert for sustainable chemical value chains

Short description: Leading projects, performing life cycle assessments, and advising our customers in the chemical value chain, with a focus on plastic production.


Responsibilities

  • Development, implementation, management, and quality control of projects (content, personnel, time, money, tasks) with our clients and our employees
  • Active collaboration and execution of projects with a focus on life cycle assessments, carbon footprint calculations, and environmental impact mitigation opportunities
  • Collecting, analyzing, and evaluating technical data for project execution, such as energy consumption, efficiencies, or raw material usage
  • Conducting trainings and workshops with the clients and the team Preparing reports and presentations as part of the job, as well as conducting meetings and taking minutes
  • Promoting communication with project stakeholders and team members


Qualifications

  • Degree related to the subject (BA/MA/PhD). For example, chemistry, chemical engineering, or environmental sciences.
  • Relevant professional experience in the field of life cycle assessment, CO2 footprint calculation, and the development of measures to mitigate environmental impacts
  • Preferably relevant professional experience in the field of lubricants, greases, and oils
  • Knowledge of project management, preferably with certification
  • Basic knowledge of Excel or Python for data processing
  • Excellent communication skills in English and German
  • Assertiveness, determination, initiative, and implementation orientation
  • Enthusiasm for sustainability assessments and services
