- The position is to be filled as soon as possible with unlimited contract duration.Employment location will be Bonn, Germany.- We are the fairly new Data Analytics & AI (D&A) team. In collaboration with colleagues from all areas of our organization, we develop solutions and approaches in the large Cosmos Advanced Analytics. Our strategic focus is on data-based learning. Your opportunity: You can be actively involved in building an organization-wide cloud data warehouse and analytics platform and gain fascinating insights from our data. You will be part of a dedicated, innovative team that drives data-driven decisions and always keeps the well-being of our organization in mind. Our challenges as an NGO are special: your stakeholders can be part of the donor service in Bonn or project managers* in our 37 project countries. There on the ground, hurdles like power cuts or missing internet connections can make data collection difficult. It's not always easy, but challenging. Are you up for it? - You actively shape the design and development of advanced analytics and AI solutions based on cloud technology.
- For the development of analytic products together with our business units, you manage the collaboration in agile and interdisciplinary teams to turn data into insights.
- You will guide colleagues from the business, set standards for the use of your products and solutions and be a Data Ambassador for the organization, just like everyone from the team.
- You drive exciting and challenging advanced analytics projects independently, taking an exploratory approach and leveraging potential.
- You analyze and extract data from various source systems (e.g. project or budget data from our 37 project countries, donor data, carbon footprint, fleet movement data, unstructured data,...) to prepare decisions and learnings from your stakeholders.
- You are willing to share your experience with colleagues and departments.

**Your profile**:

- First and foremost, we are convinced by your personality: your passion for the topic of data analysis paired with your will to move the organization forward together with us
- You have a master's degree in (business) computer science, data science, (business) mathematics, software engineering or similar
- You also like to work in a team, take responsibility for tasks and express your opinion
- Thanks to your quick comprehension and strong analytical thinking skills, you are also willing to take on new tasks
- You are customer-oriented, proactive and communicative, have a high quality standard and enjoy creative work
- You are goal
- and result-oriented, work independently and have a high degree of autonomy.
- You have very good SQL skills - in addition, experience with the Azure tool stack and MS PowerBI would make it easier for you to get started
- You are confident with a common programming language (Python, R, Java, C++) and GitHub
- You enjoy extracting insights from data that add value to the organization
- English comes easily to your lips and fluency in documents, as Welthungerhilfe works in nearly 40 countries - German or French is not a must, but a plus
