As the Senior Principal SoftwareArchitect for the Marketplaces area, you will oversee the technicaldirection across multiple teams, ensuring scalable architectures,high-quality engineering standards, and operational excellence.This is a senior leadership role where you’ll guide system design,mentor engineers, and influence technical strategy to shape thefuture of Tradebyte’s marketplacetechnology.

• Leadarchitectural decisions across the Marketplaces area, ensuringsystems are scalable, secure, and aligned with long-term businessobjectives and tech strategy.
• Drive thetransition from monolithic to service-oriented systems, ensuringmodularity, maintainability, and robustdocumentation.
• Partner with EngineeringManagement and Product stakeholders to align technical strategieswith business priorities, influencing decision-making at astrategic level.
• Mentor and coach engineersacross teams, fostering professional growth and embeddingengineering best practices such as CI/CD, incident management, andoperational excellence.
• Actively participate inhands-on reviews of system designs and implementations, addressingcomplex challenges and ensuring architectural consistency acrossthe organization.

• You haveextensive experience designing and optimizing high-performance,scalable systems, particularly in service-oriented or microservicesarchitectures.
• You are deeply familiar withcloud technologies, preferably AWS, and have experience withInfrastructure as Code principles.
• You have aproven ability to mentor and guide engineers across all levels,fostering skill development and promoting technicalexcellence.
• You have strong expertise inoperational best practices, such as monitoring, incidentmanagement, and ensuring adherence to SLAs.
• Youcan effectively collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders,simplifying complex technical topics for diverse audiences anddriving alignment on technicalstrategies.
