Our customer is a dynamic and innovative organization in the polymer compounding industry, providing specialized solutions to its clients with various compounds, primarily polyamide. Based on its experience of more than 40 years, they manufacture innovative, reliable, efficient, sustainable, and environmentally friendly products for automotive, electric & electronics, appliances, household and industrial applications. Country Sales Manager Germany – Engineering Plastics


We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Country Sales Manager to lead the commercial operations in Germany. This role requires full responsibility for budgets and P&L in the region, and the successful candidate will be integral in driving the business forward. The Country Sales Manager will primarily focus on personal sales and team management.


Key responsibilities:

  1. Budget and P&L Management: Take full responsibility for the budgets and profit and loss statements in Germany.
  2. Team Management: Oversee and manage a dedicated team of sales managers, providing guidance and support to ensure team success.
  3. Client Portfolio Management: Maintain and promote strong relationships with existing and prospect clients, with a particular focus on industrial clients.
  4. Lead Generation and Opportunity Management: Identify and pursue new business opportunities to expand the client base.
  5. Sales Targets: Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve and exceed sales targets.
  6. Collaboration: Work closely with the international team to ensure alignment with global sales strategies and key accounts.
  7. Reporting: Prepare regular reports on sales activities, market conditions, and team performance.


We are searching for someone with a Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering or related fields, with experience in selling polymer compounds for above mentioned applications. Someone proactive and enthusiastic about seeking out new business opportunities, with strong persuasion and negotiation skills and who is able to inspire and manage a small team effectively. Fluency in English and German is a must.
