As a Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for the development and implementation of business strategies for innovative cloud solutions in the automotive industry. Your focus will be on acquiring new customers, maintaining and expanding existing customer relationships and promoting product development through customer feedback.

Responsibilities:


  • Work closely with current customers to support them and help solve their problems, whilst finding new sales opportunities within their business.

Identifying and contacting potential customers to promote the use of cloud solutions and open up new business opportunities.

  • Development and implementation of sales and marketing strategies to position the cloud service portfolio and increase sales growth.
  • Work closely with internal teams such as product development, marketing and sales to understand customer requirements and improve cloud solutions accordingly.
  • Market and competition analysis to identify trends and support strategic decisions.


Qualifications & skills:


  • Degree in business informatics, computer science, electrical engineering, a comparable qualification or relevant work experience.
  • 3+ years’ experience in the automotive sector, ideally selling cloud/SaaS solutions.
  • Several years of professional experience in business development or sales within the automotive industry, preferably with a focus on cloud solutions.
  • In-depth knowledge of trends and innovations in the industry.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills and the ability to build and maintain strong customer relationships.
  • Results-oriented approach with the ability to set clear goals and achieve them successfully.
