Hardware Engineer (m/f/d) Automotive


Your Tasks:

  • Supporting local PM team with HW queries like vehicle and product level signal analysis
  • Analyzing HW issues, proposing solutions like EMC as well as HW/SW error ticket measurements
  • Supporting customers onsite whenever HW modification, vehicle based EMC tests, troubleshooting and measurements are necessary
  • Utilizing laboratory equipment’s like oscilloscope, multi meter etc. for analyzing and fixing HW issues
  • Carrying out hard modifications including soldering & reworking PCB circuit boards for customer samples
  • Supporting customer technical reviews by coordinating the preparation with HQ (representing material : (i.e. HW design documents and test reports)
  • Working closely with System Development, Validation, SW and PM


Your Profile:

  • Bachelors and/or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or similar background
  • At least 3 years of professional experience in automotive
  • Experience with German OEM & Tire1 suppliers & R&D Teams
  • Good knowledge on automotive display products, cluster or infotainment field
  • Measuring HW Performance: Power, temperature etc.
  • Analyze specific components and troubleshoot issues
  • Understanding HW component characteristics and specification of datasheet
  • Fluent in English and German language
