Senior Software Engineer - Compilation & AI
Join a pioneering tech company at the forefront of AI acceleration We're seeking a talented software engineer to bolster a leading AI team based in Munich. The company are looking to revolutionize the intersection of AI and hardware acceleration, and your contributions will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of their technology.
You would be a key member of a growing AI team, instrumental in crafting a cutting-edge Python software development kit tailored for optimal performance on our hardware accelerators. You'll dive deep into architecting their library from the ground up, with a primary focus on enhancing the compiler and Python SDK/ML framework. Key requirements and responsibilities:
- At least 4+ years of relevant software engineering experience in industry (senior member).
- Proven proficiency in Python and ideally C++ programming.
- Experience with AI training/inference framework development OR familiarity with the export mechanisms, operator sets, and intermediate representations of popular ML frameworks such as PyTorch.
- Strong industry knowledge of optimizing ML systems based on runtime analyses of latency, memory bandwidth, I/O access, and compute utilization.
- A good understanding of and ideally experience with high-performance distributed computing.
- Prior working Experience with MLIR, LLVM, IREE, XLA, TVM, or Halide is a plus.
- It would also be beneficial to be proficient with one of the following; GPU, CPU, or AI hardware accelerator architectures.
