The Payment unit owns theend-to-end customer journey from technical consultative selling,over delivery up to smooth ongoing operations for customers of HRSpayment solutions. The business unit is responsible to understandcustomer requirements, demonstrating the value and capabilities ofHRS payment solution offerings, addressing technical inquiries, andbuilding trust with prospects as well as existing HRS paymentcustomers.
POSITIONThefuture Global Payment Consulting Lead (allgenders) owns the technical pre-sales journey for the HRSpayment solutions. The position is responsible to support the salesprocess by providing technical expertise, product knowledge andsolutions tailored to the needs of our customers. Primary missionfor the future position holder is to contribute to higher salesconversions, increased velocity, and customer satisfaction (NPS)for HRS paymentsolution.
- Technicalsales strategy and planning: develop and execute a salesplan for HRS payment solutions in alignment with the respectivelocal market Managing Directors. Collaborate with market leaders toprioritize regional solution consulting efforts. Identifyproactively upsellingpotential.
- Consulting andadvisory: providing consultative support to clients byunderstanding their unique payment challenges, offering expertadvice on payment solutions, and guiding them in making informeddecisions. This involves staying informed about industry trends andregulatory changes to offer strategic insights that align with theclient’s business goals. Always providing a solution and next stepto the customer.
- Solutiondesign: build and maintain strong relationships with keycustomers, understanding their unique payment needs and challenges.Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to design thepayment solution, lead requirement engineering and define allrequirements so that delivery/implementation teams know exactlywhat to implement
- Product knowledgeand demonstration: stay up-to-date with the company’spayment products, technologies and go-to-market strategy. Leadproduct demonstrations and presentations to potential clients,showcasing the technical capabilities and benefits of the paymentsolutions.
- Team Support and Training:Provide guidance and mentoring to a virtual technicalsales team operating across core markets. Focus on coaching teammembers to enhance their technical expertise, enabling them toeffectively engage with clients and address their needs. Supportthe allocation of resources to sales opportunities and regularlyassess progress against objectives to ensuresuccess.
- Ecosystem partner management:Collaborate with HRS payment ecosystem partners (e.g.credit card providers) to identify alignment needs and problemsolving for customers along selling and solution designphases.
- Collaborate withcross-functional teams: work closely with productdevelopment, marketing and other relevant teams (e.g. suppliersolutions) to ensure a cohesive approach to developing andpromoting payment solutions. Provide valuable input based oncustomer feedback and markettrends.
- Solution customization andproblem solving: collaborate with clients and internalteams to customize payment solutions according to client needs.Troubleshoot technical issues that may arise during the salesprocess and ensure effectiveresolution.
- Steering andtransparency: provide transparency and regularlycommunicate to C-level on the status of technical sales based oninput and output metrics. Define initiatives to improve performanceand track effectiveness of the initiatives by measuring impact onmetrics.
- Experience:A successfully completed university degree, preferably in the fieldof business administration. Has 8+ years of professional experiencein a business consulting company working on projects in the fieldof digital transformation or systemintegration.
- DomainExpertise: Pursuing a vast experience in B2B sales inPayment Solutions for large enterprise customers. Experience inbuilding a long-lasting senior stakeholder network within thecustomers organization on a global scale as well as with ecosystempartners.
- Adaptability andInnovation: Ability to work within a fast-paced, evolvingenvironment while embracing change and drivinginnovation.
- Vision and Execution:Customer-centric mindset with a relentless focus ondelivering value to customers. Strategic thinker with a knack foridentifying and pursuing growth opportunities. Ability to analyzedata and derive pro-actively strategic initiatives out of themResponsible for meeting tactical objectives and commitments withinthe established methodological framework. Proven track record tolead a portfolio of projects and teams with strong businessacumen.
