RoleOverview

As a Principal DataScientist at Cint, you will lead advanced analytics and datascience initiatives for Data Solutions and Media Measurementproduct lines. This role involves using statistical modeling,machine learning, large language models and advanced data analysistechniques. Ultimately, you will be accountable for developing andmaintaining research methods that align Cint capabilities withmarket claims and industry standards of measurement. The idealcandidate will possess strong technical and thought leadershipskills and will be comfortable working cross-functionally withproduct, engineers, and businessstakeholders.

KeyResponsibilities:

  1. Developand deploy statistical models, machine learning algorithms, andcustom analytics solutions to measure the effectiveness of mediacampaigns.
  2. Collaborates with cross-functionalteams to design, refine and automate measurement methodologies forTV, digital, social, and other mediaplatforms.
  3. Lead the research and discoveryphases for both new and existing products and partner closely withengineering teams to transition prototypes into robust, scalablesolutions.
  4. Develop customer-facing methodologyresources and thought leadership. Support business teams inexplaining and defending our measurement methodologies broadly tocustomers.
  5. Independently plan, develop, andmanage projects from concept to completion with no supervision,ensuring timely and high-qualitydelivery.
  6. Partner with product teams and otherstakeholders to translate business needs into actionable datascience initiatives.
  7. Serve as a technicalleader and mentor to other data scientists in the team, promotingbest practices in coding, experimentation, and analyticaltechniques.
  8. Stay updated with the latestindustry trends and emerging methodologies in media measurement anddata science.
  9. Communicate complex results,insights and strategic recommendation to non-technical audiencesthrough compelling data visualizations, detailed reports andpresentations.

Qualifications:

  1. Advanceddegree (Ph.D. or Master's) in a quantitative field such as DataScience, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, or Computer Sciencewith outstanding analytical expertise.
  2. 10+years of experience in data science, analytics, or related fields,with at least 4 years focused on media measurement, marketinganalytics, or advertising.
  3. Proven track recordin leading large-scale data science projects, mentoring teams,driving strategy and delivering businessimpact.
  4. Extensive experience in advancedstatistical techniques and concepts e.g., multivariate (parametric/non-parametric) testing, sampling theory, weighting/projection,experimental design, regression/predictive modeling, causalinference techniques.
  5. Strong programming skillsin Python (as statistical and ML packagetools).
  6. Proven expertise in advanced Pythonprototyping.
  7. Proficiency with machine learninglibraries (e.g., scikit-learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch) and techniques(e.g., clustering, regression,decision-trees).
  8. Advanced SQL skills andfamiliarity with big data technologies (Spark, Hadoop,Databricks).
  9. Strong understanding ofinfrastructure cost management, particularly in relation toprocessing large datasetsefficiently.

  1. Experiencein online surveymethodologies.
