My client, a European-based company within a global group, focuses on harnessing biology and natural chemistry to empower growers in producing healthier, higher-yielding crops. They offer customized formulation options for sustainable agriculture worldwide and leverage their expertise and supply chain to provide innovative solutions to global customers.


Role: Sales Manager GACH (Remote, Full-Time)

Reporting to the Executive Vice President Europe, the Sales Manager will develop and implement sales strategies, manage client relationships in the assigned region (Germany, Austria, Switzerland), and achieve sales targets. This role involves driving revenue growth and market expansion, particularly in Biostimulants and Specialty Fertilizers. The Sales Manager will also focus on strategic partnerships, customer satisfaction, and market analysis. The ideal candidate has extensive experience in agricultural sales, a strategic mindset, and a proven track record in leadership.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead sales efforts in the assigned region, acting as the primary contact for clients.
  • Develop and execute a sales strategy aligned with company goals.
  • Grow revenue by pursuing new business and expanding customer networks.
  • Negotiate commercial terms with new and existing customers.
  • Conduct market analysis to identify growth opportunities.
  • Build strategic partnerships with industry stakeholders.
  • Maintain strong customer relationships and ensure high satisfaction.
  • Provide sales forecasts and reports to senior management.
  • Manage the sales budget in collaboration with the finance department.


Qualifications:

  • Extensive network in the agricultural or biotechnology sector, focusing on AG input products.
  • Proven success in achieving and exceeding sales targets.
  • Strong skills in sales strategy, client relationship management, and business development.
  • Experience in negotiating complex agreements.
  • Over 10 years of experience in agricultural or biological sales.
  • Proficiency in German and English; other Central European languages are a plus.
  • Ability to work independently and remotely.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Agriculture, or a related field.
  • Knowledge of sustainable agriculture practices is a plus.
