Your tasks
- The Hospital Sales Manager leads all sales activities for the entire product portfolio in a specific region.
- Ensure that ICU Medical products and services are sold at least as much as the targets set for key / largest customers.
- Direct and ethically correct representation of the company externally to customers and the public with the highest degree of seriousness.
- Leading the regional sales team to achieve the goals.
- Preparation of forecasts, analysis and reports on business figures.
- Establish succession criteria.
- Implementation of company guidelines and compliance with budget guidelines.
- Steering tasks including specifying the strategic direction for the regional sales team and cooperation with other internal departments to achieve maximum sales success, establishing objectives and steering the regional sales team in the desired direction.
- Travel to customers and being in the field to the extent of 80%.
- Interface between company headquarters and field staff for an effective dialogue with tangible results.
- Organization, implementation and of field service meetings / sales meetings.
- Participation in specialist trade fairs and symposiums.
- Notification of any risks that may arise when using our medical products (in accordance with internal guidelines and in accordance with the Medical Devices Act).
- Maintaining effective communication with all relevant internal departments and sales colleagues, with sales management, project managers, customer service, purchasing, forecast management and local marketing.
- Maintaining up to date technical knowledge through regular study of technical literature and passing on information worth knowing to all relevant departments.
- Ensuring the application and compliance with the QMS and valid quality documents.
- This position is required to ensure compliance with all applicable laws, regulations and standards as well as good business practices and documented operational processes (including knowledge of all standards, statutory health and safety measures and environmental regulations that apply to the site).
- Involving others, promoting and participating in environmental, health and safety initiatives with the aim of continuous improvement.
- Responsibility for tenders and price agreements in the region.
- Ensure compliance with the CRM system and pipelining tools.
- Responsible for the implementation of marketing-defined strategies for existing products as well as for the introduction of new products.
- Maintaining a broad knowledge of competitive information, market trends, and accountability for feedback into the organization.
- Employee development and high-performance team focus create a talent pipeline in ICU Medical.
Your profile
- Relevant professional training with at least 10 years’ experience in medical devices.
- At least 5 years of sales management and proven experience in employee development and coaching.
- Experience in project management.
- Proven success in increasing sales and experience in developing new business ideas.
- Experience in cross-functional focus and collaboration.
- Leadership skills.
- Ability to solve complex problems and develop strategies in a complex and highly competitive market.

- Fluent written and spoken English.
- Candidates must live in the relevant region or must be ready to relocate to the region
