Senior Controlling Manager



The role encompasses financial oversight, encompassing planning, documentation, and evaluation of non-profit-and-loss factors such as cash flow and full-time equivalents (FTEs).




Your primary responsibilities include:



Cash Flow Oversight


  • Develop a thorough Cashflow Reporting system to enhance transparency in monthly and quarterly assessments.
  • Analyse and report on key Non-P&L factors (e.g., Net Working Capital, Capex) from a holistic perspective, identifying trends and elucidating variances from Budget/Forecast.
  • Serve as a liaison with regions, countries, production plants, and corporate departments to gather and consolidate cash flow data for both BUs.


Reporting


  • Establish a global FTE Reporting structure based on country and function.
  • Perform proactive analysis of plan-to-actual performance and elucidate disparities.
  • Review open position planning, ensuring alignment of personnel costs, staffing, and phasing.


Project and Special Topic Management


  • Develop standardized reporting frameworks (P&L, B/S, FTE).
  • Conduct impairment testing and EU taxonomy/ESG reporting.
  • Improve fundamental financial processes (e.g., introduce new planning and reporting tools).



Your qualifications should include:


  • A Master's degree in economics, Business Administration, Finance, or a related discipline.
  • At least 3 years of experience in a multinational matrix organization within the life science, pharmaceutical, or healthcare sectors, with a focus on Controlling and Finance.
  • Expertise in FP&A and/or Cash Flow Management.
  • Strong analytical capabilities to consolidate complex datasets into unified statements.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel, PowerPoint, and ideally SAP modules (Business Wa).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and German, with a proven ability to collaborate in an international environment.




Additional information:

  1. Expected annual salary for this role is €110,000
  2. 2 days a week on-site in Frankfurt
  3. Must be fluent in German to be considered
