Arlon are seeking a dynamic Regional Sales Manager for Germany to join our EMEA sales team. You will be responsible for driving market share growth and increasing sales within the graphic film industry. Key responsibilities include developing business with existing and new customers, managing distribution channels, and achieving sales and margin targets. This role requires extensive travel and a deep understanding of the German market.

Sales & Growth:

  • Exceed annual sales targets and gross margins through effective sales strategies.
  • Develop and execute regional business plans aligned with marketing objectives.
  • Analyze market trends and adjust strategies to capitalize on opportunities.

Distribution Management:

  • Train and support distribution partners on product knowledge and sales techniques.
  • Set and monitor performance objectives for distribution partners.
  • Build strong relationships with distributors and key end-users to drive sales growth.

Business Development:

  • Identify and secure new business opportunities with potential accounts and distributors.
  • Advise distributors on growth strategies and collaborate with internal teams to meet customer needs.
  • Manage key accounts, ensuring long-term partnerships and customer satisfaction.

Sales Execution:

  • Represent the Arlon brand in Germany, managing leads and product introductions.
  • Engage with key accounts and prospects through extensive travel and meetings.
  • Attend trade shows and industry events to enhance brand visibility and network.

Sales Planning & Administration:

  • Document and report sales activities using CRM tools, ensuring data accuracy.
  • Monitor and enhance customer satisfaction, providing strategic feedback.
  • Handle administrative tasks, including expense reporting, forecasting, and budgeting.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in a business or technical discipline is advantageous.
  • Sales education with a focus on consultative or solutions selling is preferred.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience (mandatory) n the graphics signage industry, with a strong understanding of digital print media and modern printing methods (solvent, eco-solvent, latex, UV) is required.
  • Strong proficiency in MS Word and Excel. Familiarity with technical coatings and laminating processes is a plus.
  • Exceptional communication skills in both English and German. Ability to manage time effectively and work remotely. International driving license and valid passport required. High-level contacts in key end customers, converters, distributors, and OEMs are desirable.
  • Proven track record of over-achievement and notable sales achievements. Well-rounded, driven, and capable of managing the sales process from cold calling to lead generation and sales pipeline management. Strong influencing skills, confident presence, and a "win-win" mentality are essential. Ability to travel frequently within the territory (up to 80% of the time
