Treasury Manager Liquidity Management, Vice President(M/F/D)

As part of the Global Treasury team, therole primarily leads the execution and ongoing enhancement of StateStreet Bank International’s liquidity management framework andrelated regulatory obligations. This involves engaging with seniorexecutives, presenting to Senior Management committees, providingleadership, and managing multiple local and global stakeholdersacross various business units.
The majorresponsibilities include:
- First lineof defense role leading the continued enhancement of the liquidityrisk governance framework including policies, guidelines, andprocedures ensuring compliance with industry best practices, andinternal and regulators’ requirements.
- Responsible for managing liquidity stress testing effortsincluding methodology design, modelling, and analysis related toall liquidity risks.
- Employ strong knowledge,understanding, and awareness of compliance and regulation, toadvise, develop, and evolve internal policies, procedures, andprocesses to meet regulatory requirements.
- Apply appropriate analysis and use sound judgement tomake strategic and operational recommendations to meet regulatorycompliance goals and objectives.
- Ensureappropriate evaluation and monitoring of key liquidity risks tocommunicate relevant risk information to senior managementincluding Treasurer and Chief Risk Officer.
- Foster an environment that promotes compliance,continuous improvement, appropriate and effective controls,self-detection, and remediation.
Other responsibilities include:
- Coordinate SSBI GT’s efforts specific to recovery andresolution planning.
- Take the lead for SSBI onGlobal Treasury projects and initiatives.
Candidates should have the followingcharacteristics:
- Excellentanalytical skills and good knowledge of banking regulation specificto liquidity.
- Exhibit a high level offlexibility towards undertaking additional responsibilities asrequired to contribute to the overall team’s success.
- Project management skills and ability to lead efforts inan environment with multiple stakeholders and potential competingpriorities.
- Detail-oriented and ability towork in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
- Professional, dependable, and exhibit a high level ofintegrity.
- Strong organizational and projectmanagement skills.
- Strong written, verbalcommunication, and time management skills.
- Ability to multi-task, manage priorities, delegate teamtasks while maintaining focus on priorities and meet deadlines in ademanding and deadline-oriented environment.
Requirements:
- BA/BS degreein a related field (Finance, Economics, Accounting, etc.), M.Sc.preferred.
- 8+ years of experience in banking,financial services with some exposure to liquidity risk managementin either a first- or second-line role.
- Firstleadership experience desired.
