The Group manages 67 shopping centers, including 39 under the Westfield brand, and is committed to creating sustainable, vibrant places that connect people and communities.Job DescriptionAs a Senior Development Manager, you will play a key role in the strategic and operational delivery of three hotel developments—Upscale, Midscale, and Economy—totaling 800 rooms, scheduled for handover between 2026 and 2028. You will work closely with the Head of Development and cross-functional teams to ensure project success from planning through execution and asset management.Key ResponsibilitiesLead the development and delivery of large-scale hotel projects, ensuring alignment with strategic goals, timelines, and budgets.Coordinate with construction teams, hotel operators, and internal stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution and compliance with contractual obligations.Manage and update project plans, milestones, and risk assessments, ensuring proactive issue resolution.Oversee budget planning and financial monitoring, ensuring cost control and reporting accuracy.Drive project documentation, including decision-making materials for internal and external stakeholders.Initiate and lead asset management activities in collaboration with hotel tenants and operators.Prepare properties for potential sale, including:Market analysis and broker engagementProperty setup and operational readinessCoordination of financial analyses and data room preparationEnsure regulatory compliance, permitting, and technical coordination throughout the development lifecycle.Represent URW in external meetings, including with city authorities, consultants, and partners.Maintain structured tracking of all project-related topics and ensure transparent communication across teams.Contribute to a dynamic and creative team culture, fostering collaboration and innovation.QualificationsProven experience as a Project Manager or Development Manager on large-scale real estate projects, ideally in mixed-use or hospitality developments.Strong analytical and financial skills with a structured and proactive working style.Experience in project development or construction; hotel sector experience is a plus.A technical background (e.g., engineering or architecture degree) is advantageous but not required.6–10 years of relevant professional experience.Fluent English and good German communication skills Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint.BenefitsDiverse responsibilities in a dynamic and collaborative team environment30 vacation days annuallyAccess to well-being programs via Urban Sports Club, EGym, Fitness First, and pme FamilienserviceSubsidies via Belonio for lunch, JobRad, and public transportTraining and development through the URW AcademyEngagement in our sustainability strategy "BETTER PLACES 2030"Inclusive culture supported by our "Be You at URW" diversity programPlease upload your CV in English when applying.For questions regarding this position, feel free to contact our Talent Acquisition Partner at: konrad.kozlowski@urw.com
