The position


We are seeking an experienced Product Manager. PdM has the responsibility for their respective product platform throughout the entire life cycle of the product portfolio. This includes complete roll out plans comprising of design, Customer Requirement specification, pricing, costing, internal and external launch of product, GCNF update, business plan, competitive pricing and specification analysis, time plan, planned first adopters of new. The plans and activates should be in line with global portfolio strategies, business strategy and Core Purpose of AEG PS. The PdM is the primary interface for all involved functions within the process of design, manufacturing, sales and service of the products and act as an internal promoter.



Main Responsibilities


  • Lead internal processes to define, implement and maintain AEG product portfolio in close collaboration with business development, marketing, sales and R&D.
  • Prepare, elaborate and maintain portfolio specifications and requirements for existing portfolio, new product development or purchase of products (OEM or ODM products).
  • Report out on revenue, VM, price, cost reduction targets and highlight to the business product or market issues.
  • Provide training, information and support for involved colleagues (Sales, FAE) and/or customers during product life cycle, prepare and lead product presentations and publications.
  • Defines AEG global portfolio strategy in line with managing board and business strategies.
  • Monitors competition in terms of offering, known strategies, new products etc. and proactively recommends and enable the proper responses.
  • Support Legal Entities with product information (product presentations, technical support, competitive analysis) and technical trainings.
  • Prepare Price list for SMPS and approve any price requests outside of the standard product range or pricing strategy.
  • Approve any bid request that will require Engineering, or R&D resources.
  • Standardization of products and options to save costs and increase the margin and profitability.
  • Support FAE/Sales on opportunities regarding possible technical solution based on customers request.


Qualifications and Requirements


  • Degree in Electrical / Electronic Engineering with profound knowledge of marketing and product development, with more than 3 years’ experience.
  • Deep knowledge of AEG PS SMPS portfolio, current and legacy. Work experience in FAE or similar global roles is a plus.
  • Past experience in a B2B Multinational Company involved in business-critical products.
  • Good knowledge of electrical systems and power electronic products.
  • Knowledge about markets, segments, applications and competitors’ products and service strategies.
  • Computer Literacy.
  • Able to work effectively and efficiently under strict deadlines.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Strong organizing and planning skills.
  • Ability in finding solutions for the projects in action.
  • Able to work with peers and across the functions.
  • Fluent in German and English, French is a plus
