Senior Product Manager for Power Solutions

Position Overview
We are in search of a seasoned Product Manager who will oversee the entire lifecycle of our product portfolio within the industrial and nuclear power sectors. This role encompasses the development of comprehensive rollout strategies that include design specifications, customer requirements, pricing structures, cost analysis, and the internal and external launch of products. The Product Manager will ensure alignment with global portfolio strategies and the overarching business objectives of AEG Power Solutions. Acting as the primary liaison among all stakeholders involved in the design, manufacturing, sales, and service processes, the Product Manager will serve as an internal advocate for our products.
Key Responsibilities
- Direct internal initiatives to define, implement, and sustain AEG's product portfolio in close collaboration with business development, marketing, sales, and research & development teams.
- Develop, refine, and maintain specifications and requirements for both existing products and new product developments or acquisitions.
- Monitor and report on revenue, value management, pricing, and cost reduction targets while addressing product or market challenges.
- Provide training, resources, and support to colleagues (Sales, Field Application Engineers) and customers throughout the product lifecycle, including leading product presentations and publications.
- Establish AEG's global portfolio strategy in alignment with the management board and business objectives.
- Conduct competitive analysis to monitor market offerings, strategies, and new product introductions, proactively recommending appropriate responses.
- Assist legal entities with product information, including technical support and competitive analysis, as well as conducting technical training sessions.
- Prepare pricing lists for Switch Mode Power Supplies (SMPS) and authorize any pricing requests that deviate from standard pricing strategies.
- Authorize bid requests that necessitate engineering or research and development resources.
- Standardize products and options to optimize costs and enhance profitability.
- Support Field Application Engineers and Sales teams in identifying technical solutions based on customer inquiries.
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Electronic Engineering, complemented by extensive knowledge in marketing and product development, with a minimum of three years of relevant experience.
- In-depth understanding of AEG's SMPS portfolio, both current and legacy, with experience in Field Application Engineering or similar global roles considered advantageous.
- Previous experience in a B2B multinational environment dealing with critical business products.
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems and power electronic products.
- Familiarity with market dynamics, segments, applications, and competitor strategies.
- Proficient in computer applications.
- Ability to work efficiently under tight deadlines.

- Proven problem-solving skills in project execution.
- Ability to collaborate effectively across various functions.
- Fluency in German and English; proficiency in French is a plus.
