Post-doctoral Scientist (f/m/x)Institute of Pathology
full-time; initially limited until March 31, 2027 according to WissZeitVG Drittmittel
With our expertise and thanks to a wide range of examination techniques, the Institute of General Pathology and Pathological Anatomy plays a central role in daily medical practice, particularly in the case of tumor diseases. Our diagnoses set the course for the selection of the right therapy by the treating physicians.
Your tasks- Sample preparation for transcriptome analysis
- Transcriptomic data interpretation and interaction with oncologists
- Isolation of circulating tumor cells (CTCs)
- Single cell RNA-sequencing of CTCs
- DNA sequencing of CTCs
- Data interpretation
- Writing of manuscripts
- Completed university education in biology or similar subject
- Strong experience in the area of molecular genetics and tissue culture
- Expertise in the area of NGS-based genomics and/or transcriptomics
- Scientific interest in tumor biology
- Good team and communication skills, ability to work independently
