The People Operations team at OpenTable| KAYAK is dedicated to enhancing the employee experience whileprioritizing efficiency and scalability. As a Partner, you willplay a critical role in leading global mobility and immigrationneeds across both brands
This role isresponsible for managing and optimising the company's globalmobility and immigration processes. It requires a highly proactive,organised, and detail-oriented individual to ensure smooth,efficient, and effective handling of all related cases. Thesuccessful candidate will be a specialist in their field, ensuringthat cases are not just managed but driven to successful and timelycompletion.
In this role, youwill:
- Become a subjectmatter expert in global mobility and immigration at OpenTable /KAYAK, with a particular focus on European complexities.
- Proactively gather and share knowledge on immigrationlaws, visa requirements, and standard processes with HR BusinessPartners and employees.
- Own and handle theend-to-end process for global mobility, business travel andimmigration cases, ensuring efficient and timely completion whilecreating a positive employee experience.
- Anticipate and identify potential challenges androadblocks, and effectively partner internally and with externalparties to address these, providing innovativesolutions.
- Serve as the primary point ofcontact for HR Business Partners, external counsel, and employees,ensuring proactive communication regarding case statuses andmanaging processes effectively to minimise the need for follow-upfrom collaborators.
- Collaborate closely withexternal legal counsel to drive timely and accurate information,ensuring that all parties are kept informed and aligned.
- Work closely with People Operations Specialists to alignimmigration and mobility processes with overall people operations,such as onboarding, payroll, and benefits administration. Leveragetheir knowledge of local regulations and practices to ensurecompliance and to avoid delays.
- Partner withother key internal teams such as Compensation, Payroll, TalentAcquisition and Legal to ensure smooth and efficient casemanagement,
- Identify and implement a scalableand structured approach to handling cases, enhancing efficiency andminimising disruption and reactive urgent requests.
- Establish a comprehensive and systematic process forcollecting and analysing data on all costs associated withimmigration and mobility for active and upcoming cases. Thisincludes relocation costs, visa expirations, renewals, and newapplications providing accurate financial insights for strategicdecision-making, budget planning, and executiveapproval.
- Review and refine current processesto ensure a more proactive approach, focusing on communication andprocess transparency for stakeholders.
- Regularly seek feedback from stakeholders and adjuststrategies as vital to meet business needs.
Please apply if you have:
- 3-5 years of demonstrated ability in managingglobal mobility and immigration processes, including visaapplications, renewals, and relocations across multiple regions,with a strong focus on European immigration laws andregulations.
- In-depth knowledge of immigrationlaws, visa categories, work permits, and global mobility bestpractices, particularly within Europe.
- Provenexperience in managing sophisticated cases with tight deadlines,including the end-to-end handling of visa cases andrelocations.
- Experience in gathering,analysing, and reporting on data related to immigration andmobility.
- Exceptional organisational,communication and analytical skills.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently andproactively in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience in developing and maintaining case trackingsystems and improving process efficiencies.

- Experience with HR technology, specificallyWorkday.
- Experience in managing budgets forglobal mobility programs, including forecasting and costanalysis.
