Regional Sales Manager ( Hamburg, Schleswig-Holstein, and Lower Saxony)


Life Science People are partnered with an innovator in point of care ultrasound, they work with clinicians across the globe to share learnings and real world insights so that together we can advance imaging tools and solutions that enable them to improve patient outcomes and quality of care.


Overview:

The Regional Sales Manager is responsible for all business matters within the region. This position focuses on establishing and developing new markets, growing existing markets, and generating revenue to meet regional targets. Reporting directly to the Country Manager, the Regional Sales Manager will work closely with the Clinical Applications Specialist.


Responsibilities:

  • Acquire new customers
  • Conduct sales demand and budget analysis
  • Identify solutions and submit individualized quotations
  • Independently handle public tenders
  • Present products to support buying decisions
  • Organize and deliver product, company, and solution presentations
  • Negotiate and finalize contracts
  • Submit regular sales reports, including lost & won orders, order forecasting, prospect lists, and competition analysis
  • Use Sales Force.com (SFDC) for CRM reporting, including customer data, acquisition data, customer visits, tasks, reports, project planning, and quote requests
  • Assist Clinical Application Specialists with customer training
  • Provide ongoing customer care through regular visits and correspondence
  • Share information opportunities with customers and prospects
  • Support regional key accounts and consult on upgrades
  • Organize and support regional customer events
  • Attend regional, national, and international shows/events


Qualifications:

  • Minimum of three years of sales experience, preferably in medical devices (ultrasound experience is a plus)
  • Experience selling to hospital staff, including at the board level
  • Proven track record in business management with P&L responsibility
  • Knowledge of the Point of Care medical imaging market, especially ultrasound, preferred.
