Territory Sales Director (Focus on Northern Regions)

Life Science People collaborates with a pioneer in point-of-care ultrasound technology, engaging with healthcare professionals worldwide to exchange knowledge and real-world insights aimed at enhancing imaging tools and solutions that contribute to improved patient outcomes and care quality.

Position Overview:

The Territory Sales Director is accountable for all commercial activities within the designated area. This role emphasizes the establishment and cultivation of new markets, the expansion of existing markets, and the generation of revenue to achieve regional objectives. Reporting directly to the Country Manager, the Territory Sales Director will closely collaborate with the Clinical Applications Specialist.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and acquire new clientele
  • Perform sales demand and budget assessments
  • Determine solutions and provide tailored quotations
  • Manage public tenders independently
  • Demonstrate products to facilitate purchasing decisions
  • Organize and deliver presentations on products, company offerings, and solutions
  • Negotiate and finalize agreements
  • Provide regular sales reports, including analysis of lost and won orders, order forecasting, prospect lists, and competitive assessments
  • Utilize Sales (SFDC) for CRM reporting, encompassing customer data, acquisition metrics, customer visits, tasks, reports, project planning, and quote requests
  • Assist Clinical Application Specialists in customer training initiatives
  • Maintain ongoing customer relations through regular visits and communication
  • Share valuable information with customers and prospects
  • Support regional key accounts and provide consultation on upgrades
  • Organize and facilitate regional customer events
  • Participate in regional, national, and international exhibitions and events

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of three years of sales experience, ideally within the medical devices sector (experience with ultrasound is advantageous)
  • Proven experience in selling to hospital personnel, including board-level interactions
  • Demonstrated success in business management with P&L oversight
  • Familiarity with the Point of Care medical imaging sector, particularly ultrasound, is preferred.
