To help us build the foundation of our future fab in Dresden, we are looking for a highly motivated and passionate:
Space Management Engineer
The role:
Design and maintain efficient, safe, and compliant space configurations for the fab and office.
Key Responsibilities:
- Control the space integration schedule meet the project schedule.
- Collect and integrate all project requirements, and provide planning drawing to vendor to complete space integration, （e.g., tool layout in fab / Automated Material Handling System
- / Data computer center / Automated Storage and Retrieval System / Warehouse / , etc.)
- Complete architectural design and pre-opening, building pre-embedding.
- Complete Hookup equipment and pipes space integration.
- Develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive space management plans for the fab to ensure optimal utilization of physical spaces.
- Collaborate with engineering, construction, and operational teams to design and modify facility layouts to meet the needs of the semiconductor manufacturing process.
- Oversee and coordinate the allocation of office and lab space, including adjustments (e.g., based on staff changes)
- Monitor and analyze space usage data to recommend improvements or changes to enhance efficiency and productivity.
- Manage compliance with safety and regulatory standards in facility layouts and space utilization.
- Shift work and emergency response are required.
Qualifications and Education:
- Master’s degree in Facility Management, Architecture, Civil Engineering, Interior Design, Engineering, or a related field; or bachelor’s degree in Facility Management, Architecture, Civil Engineering, Interior Design, Engineering, or a related field with minimum of 3 years experiences in space planning, facilities management, or a similar role in an industrial or high-tech environment.
Language Skills: Fluent German and English language skills.
Professional Skills:
- Demonstrated experience in using space management software and tools such as AutoCAD, Navisworks,Revit and similar tools.
- Proven ability to plan spaces within large-scale construction projects using BIM processes and standards.
Location: Dresden, Germany.
