Company Description


Renfic, a leading renewable energy development company operating across the EMEA region, is seeking a dynamic and result-oriented individual to join our team as a Business Development Manager in Germany. This exciting role involves spearheading the development of utility-scale solar energy projects from early stage site origination, contributing to building our renewable energy portfolio in Germany.


Role Description

This is a full-time hybrid role for a Renewable Energy BD Manager - Germany in Munich, with flexibility for some remote work. The role requires developing and executing a comprehensive business development strategy for RENFIC in Germany. This professional will be responsible for identifying, developing, and closing new business in Germany, building long-term customer relationships, and driving revenue growth. Other responsibilities include managing and exceeding sales targets, identifying and evaluating new market opportunities, and developing value propositions for products and services.


Qualifications

  • Proven success in business development and sales in renewable energy or land management related fields (e.g. famland real estate, cleantech, sustainability, energy, etc.)
  • Good understanding of the German renewable energy landscape, including policy, regulations, key players, and market trends
  • Strong business acumen and financial modeling skills
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and manage stakeholders at all levels
  • Experience with Renewable Energy Project Financing, Power Purchase Agreements (PPAs) and Energy Markets is highly desirable
  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Business, Engineering, Environmental Science, or a related field, as a plus
  • Fluent in German and English
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment, and thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic work environment
  • An entrepreneurial spirit with a passion for renewable energy and making a positive impact on the world
