Electrical Lead Engineer (m/f/d) with EPLAN experience

What you will do:

  • Provide technical guidance and solutions; define, advocate, and implement best practices and coding standards for the team
  • Develop and guide team members in enhancing their technical capabilities and increasing productivity
  • Ensure process compliance in the assigned module, and participate in technical discussions or reviews as a technical consultant for feasibility study (technical alternatives, best packages, supporting architecture best practices, technical risks, breakdown into components, estimations)
  • Prepare and submit status reports to minimize exposure and risks on the project or closure of escalations
  • Design and develop electrical control systems and power distribution units
  • Drive system-level and sub-system level design execution independently
  • Technically guide the team on power system design projects, overseeing schematic design, panel layout design, OEM components selection, cable harness design, and quality check of all drawings/documents
  • Front-end technical proposals to customer engineering teams
  • Work with cross-functional teams like Mechanical Design, Application Software, and Manufacturing teams
  • Conduct PLC and HMI programming and integration testing


What we are looking for:

  • B.S/M.S in Electrical/Electronics Engineering or equivalent
  • Hands-on experience in electrical control system design and power distribution unit design and development
  • Ability to drive system-level or sub-system level design execution independently
  • Familiar with various standards like IEC, CE, NEC, NFPA & IPC-WHMA-620, SEMI & UL
  • Familiar with EPLAN E-CAD tools and PLM/PDM tools like SAP and Windchill
  • Knowledge of single-line/multi-line schematics, cable design using EPLAN
  • Experience with library database creation, symbols creation, BOM structuring, and other EPLAN skills for project requirements
  • Experience with the complete component product development life cycle
  • Hands-on experience with PLC and HMI programming and integration testing
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Good communication skills
