Fleet Manager

Wenham Carter are partnered with a rapidly expanding automotive company who have a strong global presence and a reputation for innovation, quality, and cutting-edge technology. With a successful history in their home market, this client are excited to bring vehicles and services to the European market, starting with Munich, Germany.
They are seeking an experienced Fleet and Residual Value Manager for the German market.
Key Responsibilities:
- Fleet Operations Management: Oversee the daily operations of our fleet, ensuring efficiency and effectiveness in all processes.
- Residual Value Analysis: Monitor and analyze the residual value of our fleet, implementing strategies to maximize asset value.
- Maintenance Coordination: Schedule and manage regular maintenance, repairs, and inspections to ensure all vehicles are in optimal condition.
- Compliance and Safety: Ensure all fleet operations comply with local and national regulations, including safety standards and environmental guidelines.
- Cost Management: Monitor and control fleet-related costs, including fuel, maintenance, and operational expenses.
- Vendor Management: Liaise with suppliers and service providers to negotiate contracts, manage relationships, and ensure high-quality service.
- Data Analysis and Reporting: Analyze fleet performance data and generate reports to identify trends, areas for improvement, and cost-saving opportunities.
- Customer Service: Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure timely and satisfactory service delivery.
Required skills, qualifications and experience:
- Bachelor's degree
- Proven experience in fleet management, preferably within the automotive industry.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Knowledge of automotive technology and features.
- Familiarity with relevant regulations and compliance standards.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
- Strong written and verbal German and English skills.
