The European Strategic Sales Manager for Leasing/Fleet will be responsible for developing and executing sales strategies aimed at acquiring and retaining customers in the leasing and fleet management sectors. This role requires a strategic thinker with a deep understanding of the automotive leasing industry, strong relationship-building skills, and a proven track record in B2B sales. It is important that you have previous fleet/leasing knowledge and experience in order to be considered for the role.

Role Accountabilities:

  • Develop and implement comprehensive sales strategies for target leasing and fleet companies on European level.
  • Identify market opportunities and create detailed go-to-market plans to capture market share in the leasing and fleet sectors per country.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders in the leasing and fleet industries on European level.
  • Identify potential customer and develop tailored proposals together with the local country teams to meet their needs.
  • Close collaborate with the market commercial teams to ensure seamless service delivery and customer satisfaction.
  • Monitor and report on sales performance, providing regular updates to the European Sales Director and the local MD.
  • Prepare regular sales reports and EU forecasts for the European Sales Director.
  • Use CRM tool (Sales Force) to track sales activities, manage customer data, and generate insights for strategic decision-making on EU and country-level.
  • Lead the sales process from prospecting to closing deals, ensuring a high conversion rate in steering the local commercial team.
  • Build and maintain relationships with the country’s commercial teams.
  • Work closely with the internal teams like marketing, product development and data teams to align sales strategies with overall business objectives.
  • Support all commercial team members, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.


Knowledge and Experience:

  • Previous fleet/leasing knowledge and experience.
  • Bachelor's degree in business or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in B2B sales, preferably within the European automotive leasing or fleet management sectors.
  • Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.
  • Strong understanding of the automotive industry, particularly in leasing and fleet management.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a high level of initiative and drive.
  • Proficiency in CRM software (Sales Force) and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Willingness to travel frequently across Europe.
