Your mission

As the Head ofSystems (all genders), you have broad responsibility for thedesign, development and certification of the aircraft systems,which contain all mechanical systems as well as electrics andavionics. You will lead a multi-functional team, covering themechanical systems like Environmental Control, Flight Controls, Iceand Rain Protection, Landing Gear and Oxygen, as well asCommunications, Navigation, Electrics (low Voltage), Indicating andRecording, Lights (internal and external) and Avionics. Your dailytasks will entail providing technical and people leadership for thesystems team. As team leader, you will also help organise and hirethe systems engineeringteam.

YourDay-to-Day:

  • Managethe whole systems team for the Microliner development andcertification.
  • Suppliers management includingSOWs generation, evaluating proposals, performing sourceselections, schedule and technical performance ofsuppliers.
  • Coordination of suppliers TRM(Technical Review Meeting) and PRM (Program Review Meeting) as wellas major programs milestones such as PDR, CDR, First Flight andType Certification.
  • Overall responsibility forthe definition, specification, development, and integration of theaircraft systems.
  • Represent the department atprogram/technical reviews as well as customer/supplier meetings,ensuring the engineering definition meets stakeholder’srequirements.
  • Ensure adherence to allengineering processes/standards, and participate in design reviewsto meet certification, cost, and schedulegoals.


Yourprofile
  • Engineering degree inAerospace Engineering or related area.
  • Provendisciplinary leadership experience of at least 5 years in a similararea within an aerospace OEM.
  • Experience withaircraft development programs through the entire design,development and certification lifecycle (EASA/FAA Part 23 or25).
  • Experience working in an EASA Part 21JDesign Organization, or internationalequivalent.
  • Working knowledge of systemsengineering, safety process analysis and airborne hardware andsoftware qualification.
  • Ability to interactefficiently with customer, authorities, suppliers and internalorganizational units.
  • Proven ability toprioritize, manage and execute multiple simultaneoustasks.
  • Excellent verbal and writtencommunication skills in English, other European language would be aplus.
  • Passioned about aviation andelectrification of aviationindustry.
