On behalf of our esteemed client, a leading corporate bank, we are seeking an experienced Credit Analyst proficient in German. This critical role focuses on the analysis of corporate debt capacities and delivering strategic financial insights.


Role Responsibilities:


  • Perform comprehensive financial analyses of corporate clients’ financial data and debt structures to assess creditworthiness.
  • Develop and present detailed credit reports that outline findings and provide actionable recommendations.
  • Collaborate with banking teams to assess risk and identify financial opportunities in corporate lending.
  • Keep abreast of economic changes affecting credit trends and provide forecasts.
  • Engage with external rating agencies and financial institutions for industry data and analysis.
  • Present analytical results and strategic recommendations to key stakeholders and senior management.


Qualifications Required:


  • At least 5 years of experience in credit analysis, ideally gained at a rating agency with a focus on corporate debt.
  • Fluent in German, enabling effective communication with German-speaking clients and partners.
  • Strong capability in financial statement analysis, debt structuring, and financial health evaluation.
  • Excellent analytical, quantitative, and problem-solving skills.
  • Effective communication and presentation skills.
  • Holds a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Economics, or related fields.

  • Former experience at a rating agency is highly preferable, with extensive knowledge of credit risk evaluation and rating processes.
  • Proficient in financial modeling and related software.
  • Able to work both independently and as part of a team, with a proactive approach to challenges.
