Large Cap PE backed Laboratory Research business. An opportunity to work with both the Private-Equity investors and an excellent CFO driving change and Transformation across an high growth business.

The Role

  • Lead the small team of 1 Senior Controller and 1 Senior Treasury Manager
  • Responsibility for day-to-day operations of Controlling, e.g. preparation of Board presentations, prep. of monthly performance meetings with country managers and ad-hoc business analysis
  • Preparation and kick-off of Budget Process 2025ff
  • Design and implement a Group Reporting KPI framework with the CFO that will be used for monthly Management and Board reporting. This includes developing a streamlined monthly forecasting process for the Group, working across all labs to design and implement a dashboarding solution (e.g., PowerBI), underpinned by reengineered data flows from the labs, through to the Group centre.
  • Accountability for recently implemented 12-month-rolling-forecast
  • Provide training and guidance to the Country Managers and Local Finance teams around the monthly forecasting processes.
  • Work with the O2C Transformation Manager to build a reporting solution that consolidates and reports on aged debtor balances through a dashboarding solution (e.g., PowerBI).


The Requirements

  • Qualified accountant, Finance qualification or experience in FP&A role.
  • Practical FP&A ‘tooling’ experience – track record of designing and implementing FP&A technology solutions that utilise financial modelling tools and dashboards.
  • German and English language speaker.
