Job Title: Senior IT Operations Manager
Location: Preferred - Dusseldorf, Germany, or anywhere in Germany with the flexibility to travel across different locations
Language Proficiency: C1 or Native German
Eligibility: Either a resident or have valid work authorization
Role definition
You will be responsible for oversee the daily operations of the IT department, ensuring that our technology infrastructure runs smoothly and efficiently. This role involves strategic planning, project management, team leadership, and hands-on problem-solving to maintain the high availability and performance of our IT systems.
Expected qualification and critical experiences –
- Led and managed the IT Operations team, including Service Desk, Field Services Operations, Access Management, etc.
- Develop and implement IT policies, procedures, and best practices.
- Oversee multiple teams spread across different locations
- Managing Clients, leading the key delivery discussions
- Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues as they arise.
- Collaborate with other departments to understand their IT needs and provide effective solutions.
- Manage IT budgets, resources, and vendor relationships.
- Coordinate and execute IT projects, ensuring timely and within-budget completion.
- Implement and oversee disaster recovery and business continuity plans.
- Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies to drive innovation within the company.
Mandatory Education, Skills & certification -
- Lead and managed the IT Operations team, including Service Desk, Field Services Operations, Access Management, etc.
- Minimum of 9 years of experience in IT operations, with at least 5 years in a managerial role.
- Transition and Project Management Skills
- Strong knowledge of IT infrastructure, EUCs experience
- Excellent leadership and team management skills.
- Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Exceptional problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Relevant certifications such as ITIL are highly desirable.
