Founded in Japan in 1917, YOKOHAMA Rubber Company Limited has a wealth of experience in various industries such as tyres, marine, aerospace and other industrial products as well as an impressive global distribution network covering all continents. YOKOHAMA EUROPE GMBH is a European subsidiary based in Düsseldorf and is active in the import and export, sales and marketing of rubber tyres/hoses for motor vehicles.
YOUR TASKS:
- Responsible for the entire Supply Chain Team and Customer Service Team
- Inventory management for the assigned warehouse
- Monitors and reports on Logistic performance and cost
- Logistic point of contact for projects involving Supply Chain Europe
- Carrying out inventories
- Managing and monitoring Direct deliveries
- Control of logistics services within the assigned area
- Logistics support on Sales on availability of product and deliveries
- Management Plan preparation in line with HQ guidelines and budget management
- Inbound and Outbound flow management
- Invoices control and approval
- Direct contact with Logistics Provider
- Local availability management
- Processing of additional logistical requests
- Close contact to local Business and EU HQ
YOUR PROFIL:
- Bachelor/Master Degree in Engineering or Economics
- 5+ years experience in Supply Chain, 2+ years experience as people manager
- Experience in Tire business is a plus
- Good IT knowledge and skills, Mandatory SAP, Excel and PowerPoint
- Bring leadership into the organization, Able to develop and maintain strong relationships with peers, Flexible approach to work and able to work under pressure, Able to demonstrate sound understanding of financial acumen (eg P&L, GM% etc), Excellent communication skills, able to successfully negotiate and influence at a senior level
