Head of Supply Chain Systems & Processes
My Client is a leading innovator in the medical device industry, dedicated to improving patient outcomes through cutting-edge technologies. With a global presence, we are committed to delivering high-quality medical solutions that positively impact healthcare worldwide. As we continue to expand our operations, we are seeking a dynamic and experienced professional to join our team as the Head of Supply Chain Systems in our Hamburg office.
Job Description:
As the Head of Supply Chain Systems and Processes, you will play a pivotal role in optimizing and managing our supply chain operations to ensure efficiency, accuracy, and timely delivery of medical devices to our customers. The position actively participates in manufacturing processes, incorporating lean management and Six Sigma methodologies, while also carrying substantial budgetary responsibilities for IT development. You will be responsible for overseeing the development, implementation, and maintenance of our supply chain systems, driving continuous improvement initiatives, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to enhance overall supply chain performance.
Responsibilities:
1. Lead the design, implementation, and maintenance of supply chain systems to enhance visibility, accuracy, and efficiency.
2. Collaborate with IT teams to integrate and optimize enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems for seamless supply chain operations.
3. Develop and implement data-driven strategies to improve inventory management, demand forecasting, and order fulfilment.
4. Identify and implement innovative technologies to enhance supply chain processes and support business growth.
5. Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure and improve supply chain performance.
6. Lead cross-functional teams to drive process improvements and resolve supply chain issues proactively.
7. Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards in supply chain operations.
Qualifications:
1. Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, or a related field; Master’s degree is a plus.
2.Expertise in managing operational processes, specifically emphasizing production and the implementation of technology within a multinational setting.
3. In-depth knowledge of supply chain systems, ERP implementation, and process improvement methodologies. SAP 4 HANA is advantageous.
4. Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage cross-functional teams.
5. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
6. Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
