Senior Technical Sales Manager

Responsibilities:

1. Market Engagement:

• Engage with potential clients in the German market to understand their energy storage needs and provide expert technical guidance during the pre sales phase.

2. Sales Support:

• Collaborate with the sales team to create proposals, presentations, and other sales materials, ensuring technical accuracy and relevance for the German market.

3. Technical Consultation (auf Deutsch):

• Act as the primary technical contact for German-speaking clients, addressing inquiries, conducting product demonstrations, and offering insights into the technical aspects of our energy storage solutions.

4. Customized Solutions:

• Work closely with clients to identify specific requirements and propose customized energy storage solutions that align with the unique needs of the German market.

5. Product Training (in Deutsch):

• Develop and deliver product training programs in German for clients, sales teams, and internal staff, ensuring a comprehensive understanding of our energy storage systems.

6. Market Insights:

• Stay informed about market trends, regulations, and competitor activities in the German energy storage sector. Provide insights to the team to support strategic decision-making.

7. Customer Relationship Management:

• Build and nurture strong relationships with clients in the German market, serving as a trusted technical advisor throughout the sales cycle.


Qualifications:

1. Educational Background:

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Renewable Energy, or a related field. Advanced degree or certifications in energy storage technologies are advantageous.

2. Language Skills:

• Fluent in both English and German, with excellent written and verbal communication skills in both languages.

3. Technical Experience:

• Proven experience in technical sales within the energy storage industry, with a strong understanding of energy storage technologies and renewable energy systems.

4. Customer-Focused:

• Demonstrated ability to understand and address customer needs, providing effective technical solutions that align with the unique requirements of the German market.

5. Team Collaboration:

• Ability to collaborate effectively with international teams, sales professionals, and engineers.

6. Training and Presentation Skills:

• Experience in developing and delivering technical training programs and presentations, particularly in German.

7. Project Management:

• Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
