Credit Risk Manager

Key Responsibilities

  • Credit Analysis: Prepare thorough and concise credit analyses as directed by the Team Leader.
  • Industry Evaluation: Assess the client's competitive positioning within their industry.
  • Strategic Assessment: Articulate and evaluate the client's strategy, including associated execution risks.
  • Funding and Liquidity Analysis: Analyse funding strategies, financial policies, treasury activities, and liquidity.
  • Financial Analysis: Conduct balance sheet strength, cash flow, and profitability analyses using ratio analysis and stress testing.
  • Additional Analyses: Prepare industry-specific reviews, portfolio reviews, stress tests, and other analyses as directed.
  • Credit Grading: Complete account spreading and scorecard determination within Creditmate, proposing preliminary credit grading.
  • Application Finalization: Finalize relevant Group Mandate and/or Business Credit Application for assigned clients.

Experience & Skills

  • Relevant Experience: Minimum of 3 years' experience in banking, rating agencies, treasury, or accounting is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Analytical Skills: Strong ability to assess and calibrate credit risk.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to work across cultures in a dynamic environment.
  • Language Proficiency: Fluency in German.
  • Professional Interaction: Ability to engage in credible dialogue at all organizational levels and with clients.
  • Organizational Skills: Well-organized, able to multitask and manage competing demands.
  • Advanced Qualifications: MBA or CFA qualifications are advantageous but not required.
