For our office in Hamburg we are recruiting a: Sales Manager Cluster - NVO Global Sales (f/m/d)
The Sales Manager leads and guides the sales team to achieve revenue targets and exceed customer expectations. They develop and execute sales strategies, provide coaching and support to sales representatives, and collaborate with other departments to ensure the company's products or services are effectively positioned in the market.
Your responsibilities:
- Coach and manage the Local Sales team through regular meetings and joint visits / calls with sales staff
- Make sure the team is fully able to sell maritime and non maritime products as per CMA CGM strategy
- Develop and maintain business action plan & objectives, implement management tools
- Follow up of on team performance through the corporate dashboards and propose corrective measures in necessary
- Promote products and services to NVO customers
- Responsible in establishing the Commercial actions plan
- Identify the commercial market opportunities, develop market shares and/or improve revenues according to commercial strategy (owner of important customers)
- The NVO team specializes in a specific type of customer by segment Advanced and Standard with one point of contact towards the customer
- Define VAS targets towards the NVA team and drive performance
You bring aboard:
- An experience of minimum 5 years as an Account Manager (f/m/d)
- Strong Knowledge in Shipping (minimum 7+ Years of experience in liner shipping)
- Very good German and English language skills (written and spoken)
- Sales technique expertise
- Management Skills
- Effective communication skills (Ability to articulate various business scenarios with customers, senior business leaders & middle management) Demonstration of professional demeanor, positive attitude, and ability to manage stress through challenging situations
- Must be able to prioritize work effectively and manage time efficiently
- Previous experience in Salesforce platform
- Analytical mindset with ability to use data to drive decision making
