BUSINESS UNIT

HRS' Product Management department is a critical function in driving the success of the company's Lodging-as-a-Service (LaaS) platform. The department collaborates with cross-functional teams to define the product vision, roadmap, and strategy, and prioritizes features using analytics and data to meet business goals and deliver an exceptional experience for stakeholders.

Product Managers at HRS own the program backlog, define product increments and releases, and are responsible for the product vision, roadmap, pricing, licensing, and ROI. They possess strong business and technical knowledge, as well as excellent communication and prioritization skills.

The department operates based on HRS' leadership principles, putting the customer view first and striving for customer success over commercial success. They think and act big, challenging the status quo, and constantly leaving their comfort zones to achieve growth. As coaches, they hire the most likely to win and help develop team members to become the best through radical candid feedback.

Product Managers at HRS are learning pioneers, continually seeking to improve processes, products, commercial models, technologies, and ways of working. They take ownership of the entire customer experience, seeking truth and committing to decisions once they are made.To succeed in the role, candidates must possess strong business and technical know-how, prioritize tasks accurately, and have excellent communication skills. They must also have an up-to-date knowledge of the latest trends and technologies and be comfortable presenting their ideas to internal stakeholders.

POSITION

We are looking for a Vice President of Product Management ProcureTech (all gender) to join the product leadership team. In your proactive nature, you lead the product strategy, design and implementation of HRS' procure-tech offering, lead day-to-day product development and support our global team to deliver relevant and high-quality product experiences to our demanding customer base.

CHALLENGE
  • Take full responsibility over the ProcureTech value proposition, especially enabling digital automation to harness efficiency, reduced cost and decision making for our large-scale, multi-national clients from spend analytics to supplier engagement.
  • Develop the ProcureTech vision and positioning of the e-procurement and content sourcing and curation platform.
  • Lead the strategic development of the platform to evolve into the market's leading AI-based lodging and meetings procurement and content automation platform achieving a scalable and commercially relevant SaaS offering - from the discovery of meaningful, innovative features to their implementation in the marketplace of customers and suppliers.
  • Develop an integrated product strategy for the ProcureTech platform aligning the data-driven e-procurement automation capabilities with the content sourcing and curation automation layer, feeding HRS' online and offline points of sale with highly relevant and quality-optimized hotel and meeting content across the global marketplace.
  • Be accountable in achieving a strategically and commercially relevant evolution of the ProcureTech platform through the in-depth understanding and steering on its P&L perspective in development and operationalization at scale, as well as deciding investments targeting 10x exponential growth opportunities.
  • Collaborate closely in an integrated team with product marketing, UX design, product operations and technical architects to achieve massive scale of the platform throughout global regions and industries, as well as leveraging state-of-the-art technology ahead of the competition.
  • Continually lead the team to check back with the product strategy to adapt the roadmap, adjust the teams' backlogs accordingly, and calibrate the team towards achieving the strategic deliverables in time, budget and quality. Then be the ambassador of the ProcureTech product roadmap in the company and in the market at events and meetings.
  • Work closely with operations teams and dive deep into our customers' and partners' ecosystems to achieve highest operational excellence in the delivery of incrementally improving product experiences.
  • Engage proactively in the strategic cross-platform development with our TravelTech and FinTech verticals involving interconnected performance and experience propositions in the HRS procure-to-reclaim value proposition, especially involving managed e-commerce booking channels and our innovative payment solutions.
  • Always keep our clients, partners and teams one step ahead with the best and latest industry knowledge, especially in deriving differentiating solutions in the competitive market.
  • Foster a highly organized, targeted and motivated culture utilizing S.M.A.R.T. metrics and narratives as well as a Kaizen mindset to strategically fuel the HRS flywheel delivering value-add experiences ongoingly.
  • Bring your talents and strategic product and sales experience into HRS, especially also to hire the best candidates and coach the team to continually raise the bar.
FOR THIS EXCITING MISSION YOU ARE EQUIPPED WITH...
  • Several years' proven experience in the strategic development and positioning of online procurement or Real-time Bidding solutions leveraging data-driven strategies, AI-powered process automation and integrations with external systems via APIs.
  • Experience in building highly engaging products with lasting user connections leveraging human-centered design, achievement celebration and gratitude experiences, AI-enabled user experience/interactions, metric-driven funnel optimization, user feedback, product experiments and A/B testing, and process automation.
  • Experience in developing concepts and leading development execution of market-leading SaaS product offerings.
  • Experience in supporting the marketing and sales of B2B2C product into the CXO suite and their direct reports at enterprise accounts, e.g. Fortune 500 companies.
  • Excellent leadership and coaching skills. Record of accomplishment of inspiring and motivating others to achieve results that exceed what was believed to be possible.
  • Experience in leading teams and product development using business cases and metric prioritization, agile methodologies for hypotheses validation and incremental scoping, as well as document-driven stakeholder collaboration (i.e. PRFAQ).
  • Unparalleled interpersonal and communications skills to inspire prospects and to help vocalize and pitch the HRS value proposition to the market (proven public speaking a must). In other words, be a great storyteller
  • Skilled in working within a matrix organization and in forwarding, building momentum for and successfully driving the competition of strategic initiatives that impact a total organization and company.
  • Very talented at analyzing and understanding customer situations by interpreting large amounts of data and identifying trends while linking to solutions.
  • Substantial experience in software development based on scaled multi-location and multi-project agile development.
  • Ability to keep up with a fast-paced internal environment where products and solutions evolve quickly and need to be accurately integrated into customer/sales story lines as the solutions evolve. Embracing change is a must.
  • Knowledge about Supply Chain Management, Indirect Procurement, potentially RTB and Ad-Tech, and ideally the Corporate Travel industry.
