Your Mission

We are seeking a driven and results-oriented Head of Marketing to be the 1st Marketing person on the ground, to lead their marketing strategy and drive sustainable growth.

You will be responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive marketing plan that increases brand awareness, generates qualified leads through demand generation, and supports the sales and product teams.

Your Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement a data-driven marketing strategy across all channels, including online marketing, SEO, SEA, content marketing, and social media.
  • Foster deep understanding of the SaaS, logistics, and e-commerce landscape to inform strategic marketing decisions.
  • Manage and optimize marketing budgets to achieve maximum return on investment (ROI).
  • Lead the development and execution of targeted marketing campaigns to generate new leads and nurture existing ones.
  • Oversee website optimization for lead generation and user experience.
  • Collaborate with sales and product management to develop integrated go-to-market strategies.
  • Track and analyze marketing performance using key metrics to measure success and identify areas for improvement.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends and best practices in B2B marketing and e-commerce.
Your Qualifications:
  • 7+ years of experience in B2B marketing, preferably within the SaaS, logistics, or e-commerce sectors.
  • Proven track record of developing and executing successful marketing campaigns that drive lead generation and brand awareness.
  • Strong understanding of online marketing channels, including SEO, SEA, content marketing, social media, and marketing automation.
  • Experience with e-commerce platforms like Shopify, BigCommerce, Plenty Markets, Xentral, or WeClapp is a plus.
  • Excellent analytical skills and experience with marketing analytics tools.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a team in the future, but no previous management experience is needed.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
  • Fluency in German and strong English language skills.
