As a Process Excellence Manager for our breeding stations, you will play a crucial role in promoting operational excellence and continuous improvement. Your responsibilities will cover a wide range of process-related activities to ensure efficiency, quality, and sustainability in our organization.
Your tasks:
- Lead and implement Lean Management and Six Sigma improvement projects for sustainable enhancement of organizational performance.
- Identify improvement opportunities in various internal customer groups and derive optimization measures using modern process improvement approaches.
- Ensure alignment with the entire research and development process landscape.
- Support the active use of process lifecycle management from analysis to mapping, performance management, operation, standardization, improvement, automation, and digitization.
- Develop compelling Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for global administrative functions. Ensure effective process management through Data-driven Metrics.
- Implement internal controls for risk control and ensure global business continuity within the organization.
Your profile:
- Master's degree in Engineering, Economics, or related fields.
- Several years of relevant work experience in an operational or transactional role.
- Applied expertise in Lean Management, Six Sigma, and Continuous Improvement.
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, constantly changing environment.
- Competence in handling difficult situations (proven skills in change and conflict management).
- Ability to lead improvement projects and support Lean Management/Six Sigma initiatives.
- LEAN SIX SIGMA certification (Green Belt or higher).
- Experience with Value Stream Mapping and other Lean Management/Continuous Improvement tools.
- Conduct Kaizen workshops/events.
- Familiarity with Business Process Management and Continuous Improvement using common methods.
- Experience in discovering, modeling, and implementing Business Process Management (BPM) and Workflow Management Systems (BPMN 2.0, Signavio).
- Fluent in English and another language (German is advantageous).
- Hands-on mentality and attention to detail combined with the ability to see the bigger picture.
- Strategic thinking and a general management perspective.
- Strong customer focus and excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
