Responsibilities
  • Actively shape EEM's long-term strategy roadmap and transformation jointly with the EEM Strategy, Transformation & Change leadership team, with a strong focus on data-driven strategies to drive business growth and improve operational efficiency of EEM.
  • Lead strategic initiatives focused on data-driven decision-making, use cases and new capabilities, including defining project scope, objectives, and deliverables.
  • Stay up-to-date with trading industry trends and advances in data analytics and develop continuous improvement and innovation.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and evaluate new business opportunities based on data analysis and market insights.
  • Present findings and recommendations to the EEM Executive Board and further senior management and stakeholders, effectively communicating the value of data-driven initiatives.
  • Be an integral part of a multidisciplinary, high-performing and highly creative team, passionate about markets and the energy transition.
Qualifications
  • University degree in business, economics, data science / IT or a related field.
  • Several years of experience, ideally in the energy trading or digital technology environment.
  • Ability to identify new digital and data-driven use cases.
  • Proven experience in leading new data-driven business initiatives, strong project management skills.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, analyse, and interpret complex data sets, proficiency in data analytics tools such as SQL, Python, R, or similar.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Excellent English language skills, spoken and written; fluency in German or other languages is a plus.
  • Entrepreneurial and strategic mindset, loving to think outside the box. You enjoy answering unanswered questions on a daily basis- and asking questions that no one has dared to ask before.
