As the
Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) at Urban Sports Group, you'll spearhead the development and execution of our marketing strategy, prioritizing B2B and performance marketing to amplify brand visibility, foster customer acquisition, and drive revenue growth across diverse markets.

We're in search of a seasoned marketing leader with a proven track record, demonstrating adept leadership skills and an unwavering commitment to promoting healthy lifestyles.


Your responsibilities:

Strategy Development: Develop and implement comprehensive marketing strategies aligned with overall business goals, specifically targeting B2B and B2C growth opportunities, including pipeline generation.

Team Leadership: Build, lead, and mentor a high-performing marketing team of 35+ while fostering a culture of collaboration and ownership.

Market Analysis: Analyze market trends, customer needs, and competitor activities to identify strategic opportunities and threats.

Brand Consolidation: Craft clear marketing and communication strategies to solidify Urban Sports Club's presence across our markets (Germany, Netehrlands, France, Belgium, Spain, Portugal, and Austria), driving brand awareness and user acquisition.

Product Collaboration: Collaborate with product teams to execute go-to-market strategies for new offerings and differentiate products in the market.

Stakeholder Relations: Develop and maintain relationships with media outlets, influencers, and other stakeholders to manage the company's reputation and promote positive coverage.

Performance Measurement: Establish KPIs and utilize analytics to measure campaign effectiveness, making data-driven decisions to optimize marketing strategies.

Budget Management: Manage a multi-million euro marketing budget effectively, allocating resources to achieve strategic objectives.

Cross-functional Collaboration: Collaborate closely with other business leaders to drive revenue growth and ensure alignment between marketing and business objectives.

Industry Insight: Stay informed on industry trends, emerging technologies, and changes in consumer behavior to adapt marketing strategies proactively.

What you need to succeed:

  • 15+ years of experience in marketing, with significant leadership experience, with ideally over half of that time spent developing B2B expertise
  • A proven track record of marketing leadership in both B2B and B2C businesses
  • Deep understanding of marketplace businesses and productled organizations
  • SaaS marketing experience is a huge plus
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with a passion for promoting healthy and active lifestyles
  • Effective communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to adapt to a rapidly changing business environment
  • Proficiency in performance marketing and datadriven decisionmaking
